DoorStep

Every promise checked.Every repair on record.

DoorStep matches emails to the right property, drafts replies, and checks the details before you send.

Every send requires human approval

How it works

From a maintenance email to a checked reply, step by step.

  1. 1

    An email arrives

A tenant, technician or landlord writes in. DoorStep reads it as it comes.

    Inbox

    From Maya · Tenant

    “Is the dryer repair scheduled?”

  2. 2

    It finds the case

The email is matched to the right property and the open repair, with the history behind it.

  3. 3

    A reply is drafted

The draft answers from what the case says. If a date is not confirmed, it asks instead of promising.

    Reply to MayaDraft

    “A technician will come Thursday.”

  4. 4

    Every detail is checked

Dates, amounts and names are compared with the case using fixed rules. A promise the case does not back is held for a person.

Over the limit goes to the landlord

A repair above the landlord's limit waits for their decision, and the decision is kept on the case.

A person releases it. It stays on record.

Nothing leaves until a person approves. Emails, drafts and decisions stay together as one case record.

Questions

Does DoorStep send on its own?

No. Nothing sends until a person reviews and releases it.

What does DoorStep check in each draft?

It compares dates, amounts and names in the draft with the case. A draft that promises something the case does not confirm is held for a person to correct. These checks use fixed rules, not AI.

Who approves repairs over my limit?

The landlord. A repair above the landlord's spending limit goes to them for a decision, and the decision is kept on the case.
